Masato Yoshioka was born in 1953 in Osaka. In 1974, he attended the Grande Chaumiere Academy in Paris, where he graduated with the first prize in the painting course from the Department of Fine Arts at Musashino Art University in Tokyo. He also received the special prize at the 12th Santama Niki exhibition in Tokyo. In 1982, he earned a degree in Fine Arts from Tokuba University in Ibaraki. Yoshioka has exhibited in various group shows in Tokyo, Kyoto, Chiba, Kanagawa, and many other parts of the world. Currently, he serves as a professor at Saitama University and conducts classes at Niki-kai.
