“Sheep ART – Art in Transhumance” is a traveling exhibition/installation in which artists, through a unique pictorial medium, tell their stories, invent narratives, and construct their own interpretation of the world around us using images, colors, and tones.
In Latin, “transumare,” a word that combines the prefix “trans” (across) and the noun “humus” (soil), means to move from one terrain to another, but also from one language to another, revealing how the process can evoke different emotions.
The pasture, like the language of painting, is the means the vehicle to nourish both body and soul. Like every landscape, each artist, through their own style, conveys sensations and emotions which, through the imagination, reconstruct and lend a semblance of meaning to the chaos of existence.
